How to View a Kid Business Overview
A kid business on KiddyCash is a mini-business profile set up for a child entrepreneur — think a young seller in Nairobi running a mandazi stall, or a kid offering phone charging services in their neighbourhood. Each business gets its own detail page where you can see everything about it in one place.
This article walks you through opening that page and understanding what you will find there.
What is the business detail page?
The business detail page is a full summary of one kid-run business. It shows the business name, owner, wallet balance, transaction history, badges earned, and more. It is the single most useful screen for understanding how a business is doing.
Before you can view a business, one must already exist. If no business has been created yet, see How to create a kid-run business first.
Step-by-step: Opening the business overview
-
Log in to your KiddyCash account at kiddy.cash using your username and password.
-
Go to the Businesses section. In the main menu, tap or click Businesses. This shows you a list of all businesses linked to your account. If you need help finding that list, see How to view all kid-run businesses.
-
Select your business. Tap the name of the business you want to open. This takes you directly to that business’s detail page.
You can also go there directly using this link — replace
:business_idwith your actual business ID: https://kiddy.cash/kiddy-business/:business_id Your business ID appears in the URL when you open any business, or under Settings inside the business profile. -
Review the overview. The page loads the full business record automatically.

A note on investing
Once a business starts earning consistently, some families use KiddyCash to introduce kids to basic investing concepts — putting a portion of profits aside to grow over time. If you are curious about that next step, these two reads are a great place to start:
- Why investing is a concept kids can learn younger than you think
- How to explain investing to a child without the jargon
Troubleshooting
- Cannot see your business? Make sure you are logged into the correct KiddyCash account. A business is only visible to its owner and linked family members.
- Status shows “Under Review”? Your business may be going through KYB (Know Your Business) verification. This is normal for new businesses and usually resolves within 24–48 hours.
